Our Story

Bird was founded in 2003 to create timeless jewellery that you will want to keep and wear for a lifetime. We link symbols of protection, love and celebration to give guidance, strength and joy.

We use vintage pieces, such as our 9ct shield padlocks and our vintage glass and rock crystal beads, wherever we can. We are careful about terms such as 'sustainable' and 'recycled'. We believe the most sustainable things already exist to be reused and recycled precious metal must come from a true waste source. Precious metal becomes part of the refining process that constantly repurposes scrap metal. 

Most Bird jewellery is made to order. We aim to send your order within five weeks as we are reliant on others time frames too, whether that be the casters we work with in Hatton Garden or having each piece hallmarked at the London Assay Office. Please get in touch if there is a time constraint for the delivery of your order. We will do our best to accommodate customer requests if we can.
