Refunds

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original Bird packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, your entitlement to a refund or exchange may be affected. Personalised items or goods which have been made to a customer's specification may not be returned.

We do accept earrings for return provided they are unworn, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging.

To start a return, please contact us at hello@birdlondon.co.uk and we can provide the information needed for the return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If your return is accepted, we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. 

Please note all shipping costs are payable by you. Please use a trackable and insured service for the return of your goods as we will not accept responsibility for missing items.

Shipping costs are not refundable.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain pieces (such as bespoke orders or personalised items) cannot be returned. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get the item you would like is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
